I would say that today Cuba is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Caribbean. More than two million tourists travel to Cuba every year to enjoy amazing Cuba beaches, Cuba colonial architecture, warm Cuba weather and catchy Cuban music.
Cuba health tourism business has also gained some space and it is now among the top in Latin America, especially in the fields of ophthalmology, orthopedics, the treatment of neurological disorders and eye-surgery.
Every five years elections to the National Assembly are held. At present, Raul Castro is the President of the Council of State and the President of the Council of Ministers. The First Secretary of Cuban Communist Party is also Raul Castro and the First Vice President is now Machado Ventura. Ricardo Alarcon is the President of the National Assembly of People’s Power.
